so solid 30 fps is impressive now... wow. not hating, just saying. ¯_(シ)_/¯

the game looks like a fun ride of exploration.

Context... This game is made by a 14 person team, and it's procedurally generated, which is a demanding process. You can't just isolate a single part about a game's technical feats to say wether it'simpressive or dissapointing or whatever. Uncharted 4 is impressive as fuck despite running at 30 fps. Zelda BotW is at least as impresive as UC4, despite having fewer technical bells and whistles (and also running at 30 fps). Why is that? Because BoTW is running on the Wii U, with its technical limitations, UC4 and NMS is running on the PS4 with its technical limitations, and No Man's Sky also had access to significantly less resources than Zelda BotW and UC4.

Discussion if the game is good or not cast aside, you cant deny that this game is a technical marvel.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
