Capcom was amazing in the 3rd and 4th gen. They have made great games after that, but for every one great game theres about 10 games I either don't care about or don't find very good.

Street Fighter, Resident Evil, sure Capcom can salvage those series and reinvent them. I'm not worried about those. I'm worried about their "mascot". Megaman has so much more road to travel. I know how impossible it is but I just wish Nintendo could buy the rights to the IP like Konami did with the Hudson Soft IP. The difference being, Nintendo would probably do Megaman up right.

I agree with Bossman's overall message. It is good to have Capcom here to add to the diversity of games. They might not be good games but they add something to the conversation. For good games to exist, there has to be okay and bad and terrible games. If all games were 'good', I think that'd be very boring.

They refuse to tell us whats happening with Deep Down so they can go fuck themselves.

Basically..... Capcom gets too much hate on for silly reasons.

Inafune might owe more of his success and legacy, to capcom than you might think.
Because appearntly he cant do without them.

I kinda agree with Bosman.

Silly reasons? No. They get hated on for very valid reasons.

I see what he's saying, which is basically "I'm happy because the studio of my youth is still making games and we get to play them." But why settle for mediocrity? Why settle for iterative sequels and abusive DLC practices? Why settle for the death of Resident Evil as we know it, the closure of an experimental studio that brought the world Okami, a glut of remaster, remakes, and re-releases, and the seeming extinction of Mega Man?
