Forums - Sports - The NFL Thread 2016: New England Patriots Win Super Bowl LI

Who will win Super Bowl LI?

New England Patriots 51 47.66%

Kansas City Chiefs 3 2.80%

Pittsburgh Steelers 6 5.61%

Other (AFC) 3 2.80%

Dallas Cowboys 10 9.35%

Atlanta Falcons 15 14.02%

Seattle Seahawks 5 4.67%

Green Bay Packers 5 4.67%

Other (NFC) 4 3.74%

Scoreboard 5 4.67%

Total:107

Of course the Vikings lose, as I just mentioned they were due for a loss. But still getting the pick wrong.

Edit: Also I am 1/7 on Rams picks, 2/7 on Bills picks.

Never thought I'd be saying this, but...

...anyone want to trade New England a kicker? That's Gostowski's third missed extra point in his last seven games, most in the NFL.

BUF-MIA 1 BAL-NYJ 1 TB-SF 1 SD-ATL 2
NE-PIT 1 SEA-ARI 1 BYE   HOU-DEN 2 x 3

What an assfest of games. SEA/ARI, MIN/PHI, and WAS/DET look like some of the only reasonable games.

Looking at the Vikings schedule, and what we now know of the Panthers and Packers, I'm wondering if they aren't a little overrated. The Eagles blew the Steelers to bits earlier on, so if they come to play, then they might actually give some trouble to the Vikings. No Lane Johnson means they're probably not likely to do this, but I wouldn't rule it out, either.

I should have gone with my gut and brain, the Vikings had all the signs of paper dragon status : terrible offensive ratings near the bottom of the league, and a record of playing terrible opponents for their 'victories'. Testament to that now is the Eagles winning today despite Wentz having an absolute garbage game. It really was a contest of which team could suck worse, and the Vikings clearly won that in spades.

It must be the curse of my fantasy team. It has seen plenty of players underperform or suffer serious injuries.

Might wanna use this to our all's advantage. Who do we hate the most, who do I need to add to my team?

Don't think this is really the week you need to be mad at your fantasy team lol

I haven't won yet. You still have Johnson and Graham left, and both have been pretty good lately. I don't feel comfortable with my current lead.

I don't think you have much to worry about tbh. It's not my night lol

Welp, thanks to Pittsburgh for blowing a game it may very well have deserved to win. Pats have to get those mental errors fixed before Buffalo next week. Too many drops, too many fumbles, and please, for the love of last year's AFC Championship Game, stop missing extra points, Gostowski.

Atlanta's coach caught a bad case of the dummies in OT, went for it on their own side of the field on 4th down and failed. They very well may drop this game that was well in hand earlier.

Jesus , that brain fart

ughhhhh a lot of close games just did not go my way, including the stinking Chargers somehow winning a close game.... Poopey week for me XP
