Giants O is just straight mediocre. Dominate first half only to get 2 field goals, could have been a very different game if they had 2 TDs instead.

Dont want to blame the lose on one injury because both teams have sustained major injuries, but losing DRC really meesed up how the Giants defense works. The Giants have a great defense almost solely due to the fact that thier cornerbacks and saftey are steller and completly block out the WR's. The defensive line gives QB's alllll day to make plays but often times they cant because everyone is covered. Once DRC left the WRs were able to get open and Rodgers got into his groove again. The Giants defense is fine, but mess up that CB core and things start to fall apart.

That dropped passes on third down to Shepard and Odell in the endzone was key. Likely would have been up by 3 to 5 points first half even with Rodgers making that hail mary. Still would have fallen apart in the second half though.

4 games into the playoffs and not a single good, interesting game has been played.......sigh

Welp, despite the lose I'm still super proud of what the Giants were able to do this season. They went to 11-5 from having back to back 6-10 seasons and they were able to do the impossible by completely recreating their defense in one off season. This is a new team with a lot of young talent so a bright future is ahead for the Giants!
