This list has been bonkers the past week. Constant leap frogging. 

Now we'll start to see which scerario and mentioned works. Will people stop buying the PS4 because of the slim or will people start buying the older PS4 because they prefer the look. One thing is for certain and that's the slim leak hasn't really affected the sales of the PS4. I wouldn't call it yet but let's see if the PS4 improvess its position.

The PS4s is for the mainstream audience and the Neo is for the more hardcore fans (initially). There are going to be people who are in the know but are not in as good as a financial situation as others. These people are going to weigh the two up against each other. There is NO advantage in buying the PS4s other than size and austhetics. It doesn't boast 4K streaming for instance. Therefore there will be people who prefer the look of the older models and so may start to buy it because they know it's going to be eventually discontinued. The mass market will just do what the mass market does.

I don't know the size of the PS4 Slim, but it can't be that much different, the PS4 isn't so big.

You say that but it looks about the same reduction as the Xbox One had.
