As of July the PS4 was at 1745k. August is usually flat or just ever so slightly up from June, so optimistically it'll sell 170k this month. If the Slim launches early enough in September, it could drive PS4 sales over 300k. 1745 + 470 = 2215. The PS4 sold 3397k last Q4, so 20-30% YoY growth for Q4 this year would yield 4076-4416k. That gives a range of 6291-6631k. 6500k is right about in the middle of that range, and that's the estimate I'm sticking to until the Sept. 7 event yields us further information regarding upcoming PS4 SKUs. |

500GB bundle in the top 30. Thats really good... I mean its doing horrible. The Xbox One can't do any worse.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

That's 3200k, not 3100k :p
But if you expect 3200k during the holidays months, then for sells 6.5 million it need to sells 1557k in August+September+October O_o assuming will do 200k in August then it need to sells 680k in both September and October...
Like said, i'm not saying is impossible your 6.5 million prediction, even if i think is very unlucky, but for sells those numbers PS4 need a monster holidays, like said, over or at least close to 2 million both November and December.
Very surprised by the halo one s not cracking the top 20 yet. Must be to do with the sales being spread across all 3 versions of the xbox but I assumed that would be a huge seller for august.

Like I said I don't expect it to have much of an impact on this months sales. Neither the 500 GB or 1 TB charted in June or July. The 500 GB is #72 currently for August.
