"250 gb allowance each month with my ISP."

It sounds like alot... until you get netflix, and start watching youtube, or twitch.
That along with downloading games digital. You ll quickly realise its actually not that much.

Time to get a new ISP.. or agreement, with unlimited allowance.

On Xbox one I am fine you just spend a 100 bucks for a 2-4 TB HDD. PS4 I have to delete stuff. Except for PS4 I am trying to buy devices that doesn't give me a issue with storage or make it easy to solve... So no more Iphone for me.

Upgraded my PS4 hard drive to 2TB(non-SSD of course, 2TB SSD would be cost more than double the console).

My solution is to play less games :/
Delete the old stuff except the ones with the biggest patches while buying mostly physical. I share 270GB with wife and 2 kids. Re-installing all of DriveClub on a Neo could be a problem.

This is exactly the reason why I have decided to not upgrade my HDD in my PS4. I currently have the 500 GB model C version and I am usually having 400 GB of that used. My mindset is "If I have that many games in my backlog, then it's time to stop buying games and play the ones I have."

About one minute after getting platinum on Mad Max, I erased that sucker. After making a save backup of course.

And almost all of my game purchases are physical, because you don't really own it unless you can hold it in your hands, lend it to friends or sell it.

And has Sony said anything about transferring your games from OG PS4 to PS4 Neo? Is it even possible?

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!

I've never had storage issues, even now when I have only 500GB for a game disc and full digital, even with some games taking 50GB or more space, I'm not having any problems at all.
With Cloud storage, getting the save games back is easier than ever as well.

On the Xbox One it is as simple as just plugging in a USB 3.0 External Hard Drive, pretty sure the PS4's external drive support isn't as proficient as the Xbox's though... But at the very least it should allow you to transfer and thus backup everything?

I literally have nothing on my internal drive... So i can easily plug in my entire games collection/patches/DLC into whatever Xbox One console I want, it was literally the first thing I got for the console. - Faster load times, more storage space. (I am at about 2 Terabytes used now.) and portability/backup.

I plan to downgrade my internet connection as well to save some money, i really dont need the fastest internet connection. There are no caps in germany as far as i know

I don't buy games for PS4 and so far I haven't run out of space. I do have a 1TB SSHD though.

Whats your solution?

I only have a 250 gb allowance each month with my ISP. Its enough for me. However I want to switch out my HDD for a 1TB SSD/HDD hybrid and get ready to move my games onto PSneo. However I have about 300gb of games that I am currently playing as well as 50gb or so of apps and updates. Besides slowly building up my HDD over the next three or four months or finishing every game without taking on another...how do I solve this? Am I doomed to swapping the HDD for the next three months?

Also, please remember I have many disk based games that I want to play that have updates over 20gb and I can't play games on my old HDD while DL'ing on the new one. *Confused*

Good ol' John.  Always looking for the easy way out.  ;D
