I don't think anyone ever thought we'd be able to compare these two. Will GOW is big, Halo is just in a different league. But this gen, we've seen Halo fall quite a bit, and while sales are still over 4 million physically (probably over 5 million with digital), these are numbers GOW is capable of. The question is, will they? Just about all the exclusive franchises for the Xbox this gen has seen some sort of fall, but will Gears of War be immune to it?? I mean it will be launching on an install base of nearly 25 million, and we also are going to see a very wonderful bundle launch with it as well. But, Halo 5 also has a one year advantage, and will also probably be heavily bundled this holiday as well. So which one will sell better? Vote in the poll and below, and I'll put you all in a text list (since I don't know how to create anything as cool as the NX 2016 vs 2017 thread).

Idk, MS hasn't released any numbers outside of 5 million being shipped at the end of 2015. Gears was a consistent 5-6 million seller last gen, I doubt it'll be able to do those numbers but I hope it can. So I'm going to say Halo by a good margin.

No chance no way.....You may say it but it is based on nothing. If they bundle it like they with gears ultimate edition it can surpass Halo 5. I doubt it ofcourse because Halo 5 also is now included in a new bundle.

I don't think that's possible. Although it does seem like Gears will be the superior game. And I do have more faith in that franchise moving forward.

Halo 5 will sell around 9ml and i doubt gears 4 will sell more than 6ml.

No chance especially now that halo 5 is going to be massively bundled. I see around 3-4m for gears of war 4.

I personally thing Gears is the better franchise, but since it's a TPS, it doesn't sell as well.

GOW will sell about 2.5 millions LT.
