Looney Tunes, in my opinion, is just the best.

Others that come to mind are Powerpuff Girls, Angry Beavers, Space Ghost/Herculoids, Thundarr the Barbarian, and He-man/She-ra (She-ra was better).  And, of course, Thunder Cats.

I used to pretend to be Tundro.

And Thundarr was such a great concept, probably ahead of its time.

I forgot:

7. The Pink Panther Show

@pokoko: Thundarr looks interesting, found a few episodes on Vimeo, will watch them soon.

Man, this thread is just singing about my childhood. I watched many of these classics mentioned here. I could make a giant list of my favs, though I would start getting 20th and 21st cartoons mixed up. I gotta say though, I never thought I'd hear anyone mention 2 Stupid Dogs. I never thought anyone else watched that. I always loved that guy who said "Well ain't that cute..."

BUT IT'S WROOOOOONG. Classic...

I loved Courage the Cowardly Dog. It's a shame the horror aspect is severely lacking in cartoon shows for kids nowadays. To be honest, I don't think any exist.

I always loved Hey Arnold! It screamed 90s with a smooth jazz and soulful feeling.

When I was a kid, I woke up at 4 or 5 am just to watch the cartoons on saturday. That was insane. I was the only one up in the family who did this evey week. I guess I was 7-9 years old. Really good times. Just to watch random cartoons on TV.

Nowadays this saturday morning cartoon stuff is no more. At least, not on the channels where it used to be. That's really sad.

And of course: The Super Mario Bros. Super Show with Mario Bros and Zelda.

Captain N
Captain Planet
Rescue Rangers
Ducktales
Bucky O Hare
Galaxy Rangers
Muppet Babies
Ghost Busters and the real Ghostbusters.

The list can go on.

Sailor Moon. It's not just a great anime, it also did a great part for the success of animes in the west, long long before Dragon Ball was a thing here.
