EA publishes great games but ruins it with the online passes that have an expiration date even when buying a game new after a few years after its released, that's pathetic and the reason I don't play many of their games except Battlefield and Dragon Age. They also ruined great devs like Criterion and EA Black Box.

Activision makes a few good games but mostly terrible games but their games work as intended. So I don't care much about them. EA really has potential but they ruined it so they are worse I think.

Overall, EA is still worse, but for me it's more about them ruining the outlooks for fantastic developers like Bioware, DICE, Bullfrog Studios and Westwood Studios and inevitable death of some such studios, the butchering of fantastic IP's for the sake of quick(er) profits and forcing masters at their trade into diluting and polluting their work (Bioware and DICE).
God, I really don't like EA. Activision is mostly annoying due to the endless CoD milking.

On the flip side though; EA publish quite a few good games, too bad the service they offer them on is shit.
