Far out, this is so freaking hard.
The Zelda series has Ocarina of Time, one of the defining titles in video game history, plus other greats like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword.
3D Mario brought us another such milestone in Mario 64, plus two of the best games ever created in my opinion in Mario Galaxy 1/2.
2D Mario was arguably even more influential, with the original Super Mario Bros reinventing the standards and conventions of the medium, and Mario Bros 3 and World standing as masterpieces to this day, despite being nearly 30 years old.
While comparatively young, and a lot less influential, the Xenoblade series offered one of the best games of the last generation, and while X didn't quite reach the same stratospheric standard, it still offers one of the most impressive and unforgettable game worlds I've ever experienced.
Metroid has sadly been on the rocks for some time now, but the it also has a claim to one of the greatest games I've ever played in Metroid Prime, and its successors, Echoes and Corruption, were also superb.
