Forums - Website Topics - When will the iPhone begin to be tracked?

At the moment, you cannot legaly get games on the iPhone, though that will change shortly. Also, most people have bought it for the music player, and I personally have no interest in playing these types of games on my iPod touch (which would have to be included) and I am sure there are very many others like me. Most people will not play games on the iPhone at all, games was merely and afterthought

Around the Network

the iphone isn't a gaming system its a multi-media system, its primary purpose isn't playing games so it shouldn't be tracked

The iPhone isn't a dedicated gaming system, so probably never. It would be like tracking cell phones.

Neither is PS3! Badabing!

Seriously though. Blu-ray is being pushed more as a main feature, unlike PS2's DVD player which was seen as an also ran secondary feature.

As videogame systems become more diverse it does start to blur the lines.

I'd say the same thing about the PSP... even more so really when you consider software sales. Me I kinda want a PSP for Skype.

Please, it getting old. PS3 is primary a gaming system. End of story!

And it blur not blue!!! If I were you I would worry about my grammar than trolling ;)

OT : When N-Cage releases, did it get tracked...No, so I don't think Iphone should either. And hello guys! It IPhone, not Igame or Iplay. So it primary a phone.

Have a nice day!

You fail to get the point.  As videogame systems start moving in this direction there will be little to no difference.

What will the difference be if Apple TV laucnhes again, this time with the ability to play videogames.  It will be exactly the same as HD systems that let you download games.

Until it gets sold in the RZone of Toys R Us, it isn't a video game system and doesn't get tracked. ;)

We could just put PCs at the top of the chart with some billions sold but that wouldn't really be constructive would it?

Why track sales for a cellphone, that would be pretty stupid.
