Jak & Daxter.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

The best has to come, HORIZON, i think this game could get best franchise of sony

Wild Arms, wanted to say Suikoden but then remembered that Tierkreis exists (sadly)

Well even if Tierkreis didn't exist the IP is owned by Konami not Sony.  Also Tierkreis is actually a pretty decent game one of only a few select DS games that has a lot of voice acting in it.  Plus its not the worst game of the franchise that would be 4 and its not the only game of the franchise to appear on a non Sony console since Genso Suikoden Card Stories was on the GBA it just wasn't released outside of Japan.

I must admit that I forgot about Card Stories, and I think that 4 is as bad as Tierkreis, even if both of them would probably be considered masterpieces going by today's JRPGs standards. Was the OP talking only about Sony IP's? 'cause third party exclusives are still exclusives.

Ratchet and Clank, Killzone are inconsistent, but which other major franchise of theirs is? God of War is very consistent in quality, Infamous has got better with each game, Uncharted has got better with each game, Gran Turismo is consistent, LittleBigPlanet is consistent.

Some of the PS2 games you mentioned are from the same franchises, and then you should mention games like God of War 3, Infamous 2, Killone 2 and 3, Uncharted 3, TLOU, GT6 on PS3. Killzone on PS2 was really a terrible game, it is easily the worst game in the series.

As for PS4, it got the best Infamous and Uncharted games, a great game like Bloodborne, other good exclusives like Driveclub and LittleBigPlanet 3 and its getting a lot of other games so its early to judge the system, but its been good so far.

Infamous has only produced one good game: the first one. They've been getting worse since then. Uncharted has been mostly good, minus the third installment, which was a mess. The first Killzone and Mercenary are good. Killzone 2, 3, and Shadowfall are all mediocre at best.

Sony just doesn't have a very good first-party track record. The ecosystem has always thrived off third party exclusives and multiplats. The PS2 is the big exception to that rule, and that's one of the reasons it's arguably the best system ever made.

I don't agree with any of what you said. Infamous 1 was good, but 2 was way better and Second Son even better.

Uncharted has been getting better with each game and the third game was definitely a good game.

Killzone sucked real bad, I don't know how you even said what you did, the first one was very mediocre and 2 and 3 were far superior and very good games, even Shadowfall was better than the first. Killzone 2 may be the best sequel ever in terms of the jump in quality in any gaming franchise.

PS2 had Gran Turismo and God of War games that were good, and Jak and Daxter, SOTC and Ratchet and Clank too, but the rest was mediocre at best. People I know only got a PS3 instead of 360 due to first party exclusives, while all people really remember about PS2 are the God of War games and various third party games, PS3 first party games have made a mark which PS2 didn't, Sony really did their best when they were catching up in sales with the competition.

Obviously we have very different tastes in gaming. We'll have to agree to disagree.

Oh my.

This is tough because I just realized I'm not in love with any of the franchises you posted. Can't really say Why.

I guess I have to go with Until Dawn or Heavy Rain.

I would say choose a franchise that is better than any other PlayStation exclusive franchise, even if you just like it or like it better than the rest.

The ones you said aren't franchises, a franchise should have two or more games.

So it can't be on more than one console, and has to have two or more games - yet minecraft is an option for Microsoft?

Where is the logic there?

I did a mistake in that thread. Minecraft is a Microsoft exclusive and I named that thread Best Xbox exclusive, it was a misnomer but I think I'll let it continue that way, as I don't want to make a new poll.

Minecraft has two games, Minecraft and Minecraft Story Mode. t is not a sequel but it is another game that has the Minecraft name and so it is part of the IP and makes it a franchise in my opinion.

Easy....

Jak & Daxter.
