Ratchet and Clank, Killzone are inconsistent, but which other major franchise of theirs is? God of War is very consistent in quality, Infamous has got better with each game, Uncharted has got better with each game, Gran Turismo is consistent, LittleBigPlanet is consistent.

Some of the PS2 games you mentioned are from the same franchises, and then you should mention games like God of War 3, Infamous 2, Killone 2 and 3, Uncharted 3, TLOU, GT6 on PS3. Killzone on PS2 was really a terrible game, it is easily the worst game in the series.

As for PS4, it got the best Infamous and Uncharted games, a great game like Bloodborne, other good exclusives like Driveclub and LittleBigPlanet 3 and its getting a lot of other games so its early to judge the system, but its been good so far.

Infamous has only produced one good game: the first one. They've been getting worse since then. Uncharted has been mostly good, minus the third installment, which was a mess. The first Killzone and Mercenary are good. Killzone 2, 3, and Shadowfall are all mediocre at best.

Sony just doesn't have a very good first-party track record. The ecosystem has always thrived off third party exclusives and multiplats. The PS2 is the big exception to that rule, and that's one of the reasons it's arguably the best system ever made.

I don't agree with any of what you said. Infamous 1 was good, but 2 was way better and Second Son even better.

Uncharted has been getting better with each game and the third game was definitely a good game.

Killzone sucked real bad, I don't know how you even said what you did, the first one was very mediocre and 2 and 3 were far superior and very good games, even Shadowfall was better than the first. Killzone 2 may be the best sequel ever in terms of the jump in quality in any gaming franchise.

PS2 had Gran Turismo and God of War games that were good, and Jak and Daxter, SOTC and Ratchet and Clank too, but the rest was mediocre at best. People I know only got a PS3 instead of 360 due to first party exclusives, while all people really remember about PS2 are the God of War games and various third party games, PS3 first party games have made a mark which PS2 didn't, Sony really did their best when they were catching up in sales with the competition.
