Forums - Nintendo - Pokémon GO avilable in Italy, Spain and Portugal !

Every time I read that the game is available in another country I sigh because it means the servers are probably gonna drop again for a bit. Welcome to the game though new countries!

Awesome! Good to know more people can join in the fun. Hopefully it doesn't cost even more game crashes

Dance my pretties!

It was released in Cyprus 2 days ago, I installed it and tried to play it right away. The first thing that came up on the screen was a bunch of pokemon telling me that the servers were down. Yay!

Then it started working and it glitched several times. I was stuck looking at my character and couldn't do anything. I quit then started the game again and caught a bulasaur. And then the game froze again.

I then decided to go outside and play the game only to realize the obvious, I need wifi/data. Guess that's it for me.

Finally I managed to get Pokémon GO working, it worked only for the first day for me and then it stopped completely working (the servers beeing down wasn't the only problem). I had to go trough quite a stressful morning, the game doesn't let me login with Google so I had to use my Pokémon account, too bad both the app and the website stated that I was mispelling my password, even after I changed it 3 TIMES ! I ended up creating a new account and managing to login but I had to restart my adventure since I logged with Google the first time I played, also I'm positive my account tied to the Google account was deleted since when the professor asked me my nickname I used the one I previously chose on the first day (0 differences) and it let me keep it :/

Italians won't be happy there is no Windows version since that is the country with a high amount of Windows Smartphones (was very populair there)

it's true actually, while most of the Windows phone adopters are changing right now I know many people who still have one, I think the main reason is that Nokia was extremely popular here before it went bankrupt so after Microsoft bought them out and made some new phones everyone was expecting a comeback... btw talking about Windows Phones I talked about that in this other thread where I described my first day playing Pokémon GO http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=218614&page=1#

And still no México...
