Forums - Gaming - Games with painful load times

Elder Scrolls III Morrowind had really lengthy load times when loading a save from the main menu. Around 5 mins or longer.

The witcher 3 load times for me have become notable mainly because I'm playing on Death March difficulty in new game plus. Apparently, peasants and wolves are fairly good at killing fabled witchers. It's not really noticeable on normal difficulty because the lack of dying.

Just Cause 3. Nothing beats waiting way too long to re-play a challenge. A big reason I quit that game and will likely never return.

Sonic 06. Still like the game tho.

Total War games and Europa Universalis IV become hell on your computer once you reach the final years of the campaign. There's no single loading time but multiple ones that become increasingly longer which becomes pretty annoying.

Also my internet connection has suddenly started to cut out for up to 10 minutes at a time now quite frequent, I think your thread is cursed.

Anyone played Summoner for PS2? Entering each area took about 20 to 30 minutes to load.

Nintendo is selling their IPs to Microsoft and this is true because:

Mickey Mania. Loading screens on a SNES? What the actual fuck? How is that even possible?!

Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex was pretty bad, especially the PS2 version.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
