Mobile is the way to go.

Of course the coming months the ps4 should do a lot better with the Jrpg's about to release. I am sure FF will have some impact. Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, lots of reasons to go out and finally buy one.

So are we gonna compare WW numbers to a region now? Also, as i said, it's doing better than PS3 in Japan even if it's only a little. Why do you insist saying that it's doing worse than PS3 anyway, especially when we have all the data?

The Wii crowd was very casual and not representative of the hardcore market. Last gen a lot of gamers who bought the 360 would of also had a ps3. It's just this gen they are ps4 only.

Shouldn't it be waaaay ahead because "this gen they are PS4 only". Like no competition in the console market? 

Well, there is a competitor called ''smartphones'' in Japan. Even if it's not a console, there is no doubt that mobile is eating the market.

Not sure what numbers you are looking at but PS4 is outselling PS3 2:1 on a weekly basis(compared to July 2009). Also PS4 is only 300K behind PS3 in total, and that's with PS3 launching several months earlier.

I've been saying it from the start, PS4 is going to outsell PS3.

It's good cause this proves that the Ps4 isn't dead in Japan. so far the West have been getting the good games that the West like, soon it seem that Japan can get the games they might want but i wouldn't expect most of them to buy more then 5 games lifetime if it took Ps4 3-4 years to deliver 1-2 games that the japanese market were willing to buy the Console for.

Why not!? Console is huge success WW and almost have sales number on pair with PS2, but in Japan is actually doing bad.

So you find it normal to compare WW numbers with one region? Like are you for real? As the other member above said, you are trying too hard to prove that PS4 is doing bad in Japan. Unfortunately for you it doesnt.

PS4 is selling twice better than PS3 in same time WW, and actualy better than PS2, but only in Japan PS4 is selling on pair with PS3.

So it's very obvious that PS4 doing bad in Japan compared to other markets, but you can still deny that.
