Did you buy the stock today? If so, you made a mistake. Stocks almost always drop severaly % when they see huge spikes like this. It'll probably be down 5+% tomorrow.

welp, seems you were wrong, I wish my father bought the stock yesterday afternoon, now it's up 11%

Welp, unusual to have such an extended rally. It's following a similar trajectory to when Nintendo first announced they were gonna make mobile games. But I'm still fairly certain it will see a correction in a day or two.

I think the same but imho the stock will rise again as soon as the game is released in Europe and Japan...

Don't you think the impact of that has already been taken into account in the current rally? Because clearly this rally isn't purely due to Pokemon Go, that was just the catalyst to unlock value because it boosts investor's overall confidence in all of Nintendo's future mobile endeavors.

Well that was just announcement and this is actually release of game that continue to break records, not to mentione that game yet need to be released in Europe and in market that is crazy about Pokemon and mobile games, Japan. So I dont think it will be same trajectory.

Imho no and, even if it was, there will be plenty of people who live under a rock who will find out about Pokémon GO's popularity only when it comes out in their own country and they'll try to catch up buying Nintendo's stock...

Umm it's starting to seem bigger than both of those games. Oh the things I saw in the city today. It's not even "officially" out in Canada yet. There are TONS of people playing in Edmonton. I saw people driving around with 5 people in the car all going at it. Yes the driver was playing as he was driving. I saw a couple people driving with buddies and playing. I've seen people biking around. At the Canadian Brew house I saw about 7 team Valor guys taking it. Team Valor has domination of city center.... for now! Instinct is 2nd and Mystic is losing hard! We have one gym in the city center area. Out of like..... at least a dozen. I'm not impressed with that. Things will change soon. I'll rally our poketroops!

Pretty insane. This app didn't even release here yet officially and it's already this giant hype that's literally all over everything!

What nintendo needs to do to earn many times the profits they do:

1) drop handheld (hurts to say), focus on android/iOS games instead.
2) Mario & lugi series, paper mario, Fire Emblem, Pokemon (RPG) all need to be on phones.
=
Success & profit.

Maybe something like Mario Party could work too...

Animal Crossing, Brain Age, Mario vs Donkey Kong, Puzzle League, Game & Watch and Wario Ware all suit the mobile space in their current form already too.

With some adaptions a Pikmin title would work, and a Mario Kart could be huge on mobile.
