Simply no.

Not gonna happen.

Virtual console should be a universal platform. NES, SNES, and N64 games should at least be available on PC, and mobile.

It should be a platform that isn't bound to a system or generations.

New Nintendo games though, should only be on a Nintendo system

It would be great, since I am not really happy about their hardware products, but I doubt this is anywhere near happening, maybe if the NX is a disaster, I would love to play on PC on my own hardware and controller choices

Absolutely yes, the additional revenue could save the future of Nintendo consoles and keep game development profitable. Console gamers will buy consoles anyway but PC support would allow millions of additional copies sold for every single game with next to no additional cost as long as the NX is AMD64 based.

It would be much easier to fund JRPG and other high quality niche games if they could sell more copies.

No. Nintendo's software business depends heavily on them having control of the hardware it's on.

No one buys Nintendo hardware either way

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Nope, it literally destroys everything they stand for. And um, Nintendo isn't that fond of piracy.

Their software sales would've tripled. Mario Kart sold a lot on WiiU; if they couple NX and PC sales, they can become gaming market leaders.
