What about Deus Ex manking divided?

If i had to guess, goty will go to the last guardian (originality and excellence) or no mans sky if it end's up beeing good (innovation).

It would be a travesty if it went to Uncharted 4 with much more original titles coming out. Even Deus ex would be a better contender because it adresses social issues.

Fire Emblem Fates! Because thats the only game I bought this year!

Pocky Lover Boy!

Interesting question. I like these crystal ball threads

So far I've played two great games this year: Pokken Tournament and Severed. Haven't yet played Dark Souls III or Fire Emblem: Fates, but I assume they're good.

Let's see, what else is coming this year? I'm bullish on The Last Guardian, Titanfall 2, Nioh, and Cuphead.

So if I had to guess, I'd go...

5) Titanfall 2
4) The Last Guardian
3) Fire Emblem Fates
2) Dark Souls III
1) Severed

In terms of winning the most GOTY awards? From what's been released thus far, probably either U4 or DS3. I'd say Deus Ex stands the best chance of winning out of what's left to release this year.

We all know what the true GOTY will be, though.

GOTY - Uncharted 4
Runner-up - Overwatch
Runner-up - Doom
Runner-up - The Last Guardian
Runner-up - No Man's Sky
Runner-up - Battlefield 1
Runner-up - Dark Souls 3

Overwatch

Probably Uncharted 4.. or maybe Deus Ex.

One of those 2 are this year has been very light on amazing games.

A JRPG never wins GOTY. No Mans Sky AND Last Guardian look like they could be great OR terrible. Will have to wait and see.

Oh, I havnt played Uncharted 4 and only played Deus Ex Human Revolution.

I can not decide, but both Dark Souls III and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE very good.

Isn't Xenoblade X official contender too due to late December release?

I'm not sure I agree with this. While it is true that normally most GOTY are western games, FromSoftware has consistently combo-breaked some of those lists with Demon's, Dark and Dark Souls 2, plus Bloodborne in 2015. All those are JRPG.

So far this year, for me, it's Uncharted 4.
