when ps+ put "online gameplay" as a "feature" i was already a member for 3 or whatever years because i find a high amount of value in the games provided to the service as compared to the money payed. so like,.. stfu already about the $50. $50 for 72 games is an amazing value. with any product there is a thing that is offered for price that is required. consoles systems have been very clear about what you get for what you pay for ages. if BC with decades old games is important to you then don't play on consoles because it has never been a guarantee. personally,.. i'd rather pay nintendo $8 to have them ensure that super mario world works on the next gen hardware than to put in the work to figure out how to get myst working on my laptop that doesn't have a disc drive. fuck that $8,.. i have kids now. my time is more valuable than that. maybe you have more time than things to do but keep your judgemental bullshit to yourself. i pay someone to change my oil too. i make no fucking apologies for paying for that service and i make no fucking apologies for being a console gamer either.
"(This is not an attack on console gamers and should not be taking as such)."
it absolutely is an attack. it will probably pass moderation here but i'm absolutly offended by your OP.

No one is talking about the value. And this is what i mean about how fans try to suger coat it.
So since you find great value in it and dont mind paying everyone else should just accept it and shut up like you say??.
And no its not an attack.

He is just wondering what it matters to yourself I think, say if you were a console gamer who had issues with the systems which are in place I would understand criticism to them (if it was well put together) but as someone who is not a part of the community I think the post is basically asking what difference it would make to you how others spend their money or enjoy what they enjoy. You very clearly have no intentions of picking up a console at a point and joining the other side so why the thread attempting to generalize the actions of users of 3 seperate platforms which you don't use and criticise those actions.
Kitlers point is the fact that the system works fine for him and is far better a service so he can enjoy his time on other things than jumping through hoops to get things to work, sit down, play his games during the time he has to do so, pay the price of entry, considering the backs to the wall attitude which appears when someone mentions that it costs money to buy PC peripherals to use for gaming, why would you expect anything less from this thread? Or was this the expected reaction given that your OP originally predicted it along with the threat of reporting when it happens due to the thread content.
