Metal Gear. I instantly wrote it off, being born in 1996, I didn't know any better. But man, when I went back and played it, it was an experience I'll never forget. Played every one except for Sons of Liberty and Peace Walker...:(

I judge Salt and Sanctuary off of the name alone. Then I looked it up. Then I played it. Then I fell in love.

Back in mid 2002, the game was i actually meh'ed' at Majora's Mask, then i immediately changed my mind, finished the game about 60 times.
Also... i meh'ed' at LoD, then 13 years later i came back to play this game. xD
This is embarassing but...Mario Kart. I don't like racers. Neither arcade ones nor racing sims and steadfast maintained that I didn't like Mario Kart because of it, until I tried it. And loved it.
Age of Empires series and, by extension, any strategy franchise you can come up with. Back in the day, when I was a child, strategy games looked as boring as mathematics. After trying the original Age of Empires, my perception of the genre changed forever.
More recently, I thought Splinter Cell Blacklist would be terrible, but it turned out to be really enjoyable.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
Thought Hyrule Warriors would put me to sleep. Since buying it nearly a year ago however, I've put in over 150 hours and bought the DLC bundle. Very addicting game.
"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"
Shadow of Mordor. I thought i was going to be boring tbh but i ended up platninuming the game so yeah I really enjoyed it.... would recommend.
Oh, I'd like to also add Destiny. I avoided it in the beginning, but it sucked me in for months when I go too close to it's Event Horizon.

Pretty much all of them, the games i thought sucked was actually more then just a Okay game and the games i thought would be amazing is nothing but a okay game. People should play their games before judging the nature of the game.

PSN: Opticstrike90
Steam: opticstrike90
Red Dead Redemption , WItcher 3 and Bloodborne .
I was not at all impressed with anything I saw beforehand and it was only through playing them that I realised how incorrect I was.
