Uhh...I would in a heartbeat if the Wii U did. Some games I wanted were:

-NBA 2k
-Batman
-Final Fantasy
-Overwatch
-Other games(a lot being PS4 exclusives)

wii U has games. Just sad that it missed out on quite a bit.

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

The Wii U did get NBA 2K13 and Batman Arkham City and Origins. Did you buy those?

Yeah, I have to admit, after Wii U, I'm very wary of buying an NX. I don't want to buy another platform that ends up with drought after drought, delay after delay, and too many lazy/safe titles instead of ambitious ones. Nintendo have a lot to prove if they're going to convince me to buy another console from them.

I hope they prove me wrong, obviously, I have owned nearly all Nintendo Consoles since my first buy in 1985 but I have been dissapointed in the Wii and Wii U personally, so they need to impress. If they have a good line up, third party support returns and they have a good standard controller, I would love to go back to the big N to play their amazing games, they do make those, its the hardware and online functionality that has been terrible.

I was actually fine with the Wii, at least until it was left high and dry in its last 2 years, but the Wii U disappointed me. Since I started with the SNES in 1994, I've always wanted the next Nintendo system without question, but now for the first time I am unsure. They'll have to seriously clean up their act; eliminate the Saharan game droughts that made the last few years so intolerable, and stop making so many lame and unambitious games. Don't get me wrong, the Wii U had some real gems, but it just didn't offer as many of them as I expect from a Nintendo console.

No, I'll buy third party games on PS4, I don't see NX doing anything that would change that.

I bought a lot of third party games for Wii U but almost all of them were heavily discounted since I got the console 2 years after launch.

I'm planning to get NX at launch though so it will take a while before I can by cheap games this time so I wil definitively buy at full price for games like Deus Ex and stuff like that.

3rd party exclusives? If they look good, yes.
3rd party multiplats? If they look good and perform well, yes.

Although, I don't know. As time goes by I find myself less and less interested in the big-name "AAA" third party games out there. Honestly, for me, this gen has been dominated by Nintendo and by indies - and both will be present on NX. If NX could just get a few more games like Titanfall, Cuphead, and Tekken I could probably move away from the Xbox and PlayStation ecosystems entirely.

If it makes sense to, if the game's exclusive, has exclusive features that would make the game "better" in some way, or of course if it looks/runs better than on PS4 or on my PC but even then maybe not.

Don't ruin the moment

Currently Playing: Rocket League (PC/PS4), Dead Cells (PC)

Same. Current gen AAA gaming is like watching nothing but endless reruns of Michael Bay movies.

Many [rightfully] feel the same about Nintendo's games input.  Which has been mostly stale, from a game design perspective, since the N64.

I don't think it's THAT torturous

But you have a point. The focus on cinematic storytelling has really hurt the last two generations of video games. That's a big part of the reason I find myself gravitating toward Nintendo and "indies." Nintendo isn't interested in emulating motion pictures, and indie games can't afford to

An opinion they, and you, are completely entitled to. I mean, somebody must like Michael Bay movies, they routinely bring in hefty box office hauls. I personally find them insipid and soulless, but to each their own.
