I think we believe the double standards are that big, because we are constantly hearing about feminism and sexism, etc. But the bottom line (aka the money) shows that there are plenty of successful comedians who have sexist jokes, who joke about rape and beating women, etc. etc. (many I find hilarious so this isn't a judgment post) who are millionaires, and they are men. Same goes for women.

So yes, men can and have always gotten "away with this bullshit" in some way or another (if making a career out of it isn't a way, I don't know what is).

If some woman is a man-hater, I don't try to point out some social injustice (which I don't believe exists in this case). I move on and don't watch her vids. Unless she's entertaining...

My big problem with this is the huge double standard at play here, Imagine if a male popstar said he openly hated all women, his career would be in tatters and the media would go to town on him. Yet a woman says it and no one gives a crap

 

That's because nobody gives a shit what women have to say. It's not taken seriously.

Problem is, some feminists will say that isn't feminism, but they won't ever talk against it by their own choice.

People didn't read the poll Obviously, it asks "Would a man get away with this" yes they would, a man would get away with hating another man, a man would get away with being 100% pro woman and insane.

However, I man would never get away with hating an a female like she is hating on a man, that is I assume what the poll asks, because historicity man have had a better position in life (although that is clearly changing) it would never stand in the current society.

Either way, the basic thing is NOBODY should get away with behaving like this because she is a public person other young females might like her and start presenting the same dis functional opinions.

My god not her again... Swedens biggest newspaper Aftonbladet absolutley adore this woman, she can say or do antyhing and get away with it when it comes to men but god forbid when men call her out on it.. suddenly shes this poor little woman being bullied by dangerous men.

She's like 17 and has a platform to speak her views as she's famous.
I speak for myself, and assume others have similar feelings, that looking back you realise you believed and said some stupid shit back then. I'm glad I wasnt famous so very few people got to see/hear it haha
