So basically, they've found out the hylian alphabet and it's being used appropriately in game. Many messages have been deciphered already!

If I've killed your data, I'm sorry :( But this is cool! Not only is there a fully realized alphabet but it's being used as it should be and isn't just for show! Just thought this was really cool. I wonder what other kinds of messages are hidden in BoTW!

It must have taken a hell lot of time to create such a language and put it everywhere in the game. The detailing is quite impressive.

That's awesome. Also, hopefully this isn't just another variation of the Hylian language, because we already have too many of those.

lol I remember in the Futurama commentary they discussed the scripts they made. The first one was like this, a simple system in which each symbol replaced a letter, and they solved it hours after the pilot aired. The second one was a seriously complicated coded script, and yet they still solved it that evening.

Necrobump, I highly doubt it's just a variation. Too much thought was put into this for it to be a variation. Possibly, there's a scenario like Ni No Kuni where you had to use their alphabet to find out a few puzzles.
