Their install bases are as such.

Playstation 4/Neo = 90.000.000.
Xbox One/Scorpio = 45.000.000

in my opinion MS isn't interested in competing with Sony anymore, their new target seems to be Steam and they are trying to utilize their gaming expetise and connections to win ppl over to their platform/store

Begin deployment of Cortana based AI robots to kill all Playstation gamers.

I think it's more a case of them not being able to compete with Sony rather than not wanting. Making Steam their immediate competitor is a more sensible move.

Nothing much, continue pushing UWA and Xbox Live across mobile, Xbox and PC. Focus on software endevours across these platforms.

I don't think Microsoft is expecting Scorpio to drastically change their overall sales ratio compared to Playstation, its not like sony aren't also preparing a premium system which is likely to laucnh before them. But Scorpio should bring them in a lot of profit if they're selling it at a healthy margin and ease them into "next gen." The 2 tier platform approach will essentially negate the need to ever make a loss on hardware.
