Brah, you don't see that? Not even a little?

Yes , both have rocks, mountains, green grass, etc

Yeah, sorry. Have to agree with Goodnightmoon. You're just being difficult.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

On sheer graphical fidelity, Horizon. Everything else Zelda, except maybe combat system.

Nice bullshot. The new trailer shows that the game looks nothing like that.

Really? You're going to tell me you see ZERO Ghibli influence in this game? None?

I have been in that middle ground all the freaking time, i have said clearly that this is INSPIRED on, but that inspiration is clear within seconds, just like the differences, but the thing is the inspirations are clear, and this people tries to deny it by any means.

With regards to inspiration, I think it's inspired by Team Ico's games mostly for the artstyle. It's got that same soft look with light colours. It looks even more like Shadow of the Colossus when you see the desolate amd barren landscapes in the trailer.

Zelda has only two elements that is my liking. Open word and cel shedding. But the world is empty. Horizon is a much new concept compared to another cel shaded Zelda.

Yeah, zero. Unless you're saying that there were inspired by Studio Ghibli to put in some grass.

Horizon will probably have a better and more interesting combat and story, but this is the first 3D Zelda that I've been looking forward to in more than a decade. It will probably also have dungeons which will deliver more diverse and well crafted level design and puzzles that can't be done in an open world environment. Though I'm concerned about the expansive empty spaces in Zelda. They had a thematic purpose in The Shadow of the Colossus, but I'm not sure what they're doing here. I'm equally concerned about how the story will be handled in Horizon and how interesting will Alloy and other characters will be.

Even though they appear have some similarities, they're still very different games, and I want both.

I honestly just commented here to tag this thread and read all the boiled piss.

Oh so you see more inspiration from this

Than from what normchacho is showing you?... right...

Of course this comes only as an excuse to say again that the world feels empty and barren and all that jazz, wich is false btw, the treehouse gameplay shows there are things to do in every corner of this game.

People that choose to be blind is impossible. Everyone knows the inspiration, especially by Princess Mononoke, since the first trailer.

No need to waste time. There are other productive Zelda threads to discuss.
