Forums - Gaming - Final Fantasy XV E3 2016 ‘Titan’ gameplay demo

I can say without reservation, I absolutely hate this gameplay. I disliked it for exactly the same reason I disliked the Scalebound demo. I found both to be the most boring thing I've seen in a long time.

The demos of the actual game showcased improvements in recent builds and footages. The platinum demo wasn't even part of the actual game and was made separately. Something that you seem to ignore, still. The e3 demo showed no performance issues but merely a terrible player struggling to find out what the hell he is doing on stage. The stream on the vid linked on this thread isn't exactly a good one which made it look like the game wasn't performing perfectly.

Other streams show a perfectly smooth gameplay footage.

The gameplay  here seems wayyyyyyy better than the youtube stream.  Like I said before, the guy playing the demo was just plain bad.

Yeah, people should NEVER base their judgements on streams as mostly likely than not, they do not represent the real quality of whatever is being presented. Wait for direct feed footage. However, playing a game terribly can never be masked by any video quality. lol

Based on what i just saw i'll be looking to spend my money elsewhere.

Guys, it's a boss fight...specifically a type I'm guessing that won't be a main type of boss fight.  Don't overload your circuits just yet and buy into everybody else's reactions.  That can ruin a game that you might have fell in love with otherwise.  I see this all the time with people and more often than not they end up spouting the EXACT same notions of criticism without original thought of their own, and on such a limited amount of knowledge.  They just take what others said right off the bat and then run with that idea in their heads.   And of course they will refuse to go the other way because it's easy to fall into a dogmatic state and it's scary to go against the flow.

I played the demo too. I abhor this game with every sinew of my gaming body. It's dreadful.

Woah woah woah. God of War did an excellent job with it's giant boss fights. This was just standing at it's feet swinging wildly as it's various limbs went by.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

Well... That kinda lowered my expectation a bit but still buying lol

The platinum demo or the E3 demo?

They should have showed a pre-recorded gameplay video, or someone who actually knows how to play the game should have played it. Square Enix marketing department sucks.

Though I won't judge the combat based on this, I'll judge it until I play it by myself,
Also, I don't like QTE's, I hope not many boss battles feature them.

The HUD looks way too saturated
