Forums - Sony - ps4 price drop how much you think?

I dont have a ps4 and with the neo coming I wouldnt mind getting one for cheap cheap cheap.

I got x1 and a R9 390 over clocked to hell and a wii U.  I game mostly on the pc with x1 controller on big screen tv and x1.  But theres some exclusive I wouldnt mind trying like TLOU and probably some more? i dunno.

Or is there going to be  FLOOD of used ps4's on ebay for extra cheap as the 40million want to upgarde?  Whats the best course of action here.

I will be using it very little so I wanna pay very little. :P

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I'd say wait until E3 in case they have trade-in incentives to upgrade to Neo. Hopefully the regular PS4 will get a $50 price cut meaning second hand ones will be even cheaper.

PS4 should have a price drop to $300 by the time Neo arrives. You could either buy a new one then or get a used one cheaper than that when people want to upgrade.

Actually, I was just asked to find some cheap PS4`s for my step brother and the cheapest pre-owned ones are £250 without a game from a retailer. I'd rather pay £20-30 extra and get a new one considering you get a game with it. If you can wait until holiday season you'll get a really good bundle for the same price.

$50 imo

$299

I think PS4 will get an official cut to $299 later this year with further discounts/bundles during the holidays.

I wouldnt be surprised to PS4 for $249 on black friday or $299 with a bunch of extras.
