Yas that would be awesome. And I do love this natural feeling they are giving. Hopefully we get the final evolutions for the starters in a few days at e3........... Nintendo is unpredictable these days.

I like them, I prefer the dog while the Koala has a really interesting (and powerful) ability: I REALLY HOPE that the dog doesn't become an abortion because it might be the first time I use a Rock type during the main story of a Pokémon game, I don't know why but Game Freak either gives stupid evolution methods to the Rock types I like (Gigalith) or they make them accesible only much later on in the game if not only in the post game (Tyranitar, Archeops in B2/W2).
The Koala might become a Powerhouse if the evolution gets good stats, I also expect it to have some sort of crazy powerful move that can be used only if you're asleep (you know, since Snore is s**t...) or maybe a Semi-protean move that gives you STAB on any offensive move you use when using Sleep Talk , itwouldn't be too powerful since the Pokémon wouldn't get any boost while he's awake but it could really twist the metagame, I could see people running fast pokémon with trick and a Lum berry just to prevent Nekkoala's evolution to use STAB earthquakes
