Forums - Gaming - Kotaku UK: How Fable Legends Took Down Lionhead

Good thing Sony let him go. Looking into Harrison's history, it appears that everything he's involved with turns to poop. I wonder why he's appointed to such positions of power

WWS was better under him than Yoshida in the first few years. Sony was more risk taking and they greenlit a lot of quirky games on the PS2 and PS3. Shu kinda mismanaged WWS, PS4 had a very dry 1st party output until just recently and putting games like Puppeteer and GT6 on PS3 was a mistake.

I'd say both are responsible, at least in regards to both PR and decision making.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

He was pretty important to the success of the original Playstation and he quickly advanced from there.

This sounds like the Xbox division lacks focus and has no sense of collaboration. You figure that Phil Harrison, the boss of Europe would be working closely with Phil Spencer, the overall boss of Xbox. We have two people with two different ideas and the employees have o answer to both of them. That is terrible management. Phil Spencer needs to put his foot down and say "Look, I'm the boss and this is where we're going" because he seemed to know how to move Xbox systems.
