Not sure if just very frontloaded or just not very popular in US comparatively.

That would be <30% of sales in US, which seems low for a shooty shooty pew pew.

I'd estimate just a tad under 4m digital+physical WW, now we see where it goes from here.

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, games usually see a 65-75% drop from week 1 to week 2 in the first half of the year

I'd say the very heavily marketed 4th game in a popular series is not "usual" and I wouldn't apply a standard drop to it.

If we take the conservative 25% digital ratio number (when Aquamarine hinted ~30% earlier) we can say they sold roughly 1.1 million copies which is similar to what God of war 3 did in US and it's also more than what TLOU did.

Because nobody would buy a highly anticipated game from a very popular franchise on its release week ?

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

Are we seriously comparing a franchise like Halo to Uncharted in the US?

Maybe comparing Halo 3 at its prime would be unfair, but Xbox One isn't doing so hot in the US and Halo 5 suffered a ~70% sales decrease over its predecessors, so I believe it's a fair comparison.

Honestly, one could even make a comparison and say that PS4 and Xbox 360 are both performing very well in the US, and make a comparison between each console's respective biggest exclusive (Halo 3, 4, or Reach and Uncharted 4). Xbox 360's biggest exclusives each outsold PS4's biggest exclusive 3:1 with significantly less days of tracking. But that would be a low blow.

Xbox One is not doing so hot in the US?  Lol are we serious?  Its total sales are on par with the PS4 outside ~1.5 million units.

No, typically heavily marketed sequels have large drops. New IPs, games with positive WoM, and cult hits have small drops and long legs.

Correct. It is down significantly YoY, and is starting to fall behind the Xbox 360, which didn't actually pick up until late in its life cycle. Xbox One sells during holidays due to ridiculous price slashes and absurd bundles. They have seriously degraded the value and public perception of the Xbox One for short term sales and it is catching up with them. Their advertising numbers in the US doubles that of the PS4, it costs more to produce, and is at a lower MSRP with constant price slashes and bundles.

And the XBO is already above 10M over there as well. Which half of its WW sales.

Because saying almost 3M first week on a single platform is disappointing isn't nonsensical ?

I mean sure, go ahead and totally ignore all context and everything I've posted.

I mean it's 3 million. 3 FREAKING MILLION! Sony won. Everything. They won everything. It's over. Time to go home guys.

Guys we broke Mazzy :(

So aUC4 had a really big First Week (in May) and the usual and expected drop afterwards ? So what's the matter then ?

I think we should just ignore Mazzy. He's here clearly to argue and bait people. No matter what numbers are put up for Uncharted he has to put a bad spin on it because he can't admit his original opinion is wrong. Report and move on.

Reporting an opinion wouldn't be the smartest.
Personnally, I'm really trying to see the logic, because he's obv trying to make a point
