I also tried to get into the Uncharted series by playing the first game and the sequel but I did not like them because I found the gameplay pretty boring. Set pieces and pretty graphics do nothing for me. Though I found the characters charismatic and the story was kinda interesting (especially in the second game). Regarding difficulty I did not find the games very difficult.

I have to concur.
In the first game I hated the amount of quick time events.
I got sick of the Ladders breaking in Uncharted 3, it was like almost every single damn one.

And I still hate the linearity of the entire franchise, it's a game that would probably benefit transitioning to an open world, the 1-note combat can get tedious.

Characters were amazing though, the voice work, the motion capture, the attention to detail on the models were always top notch, Uncharted series leads the gaming world in this area in my honest opinion even when compared against technically superior PC titles.

The story in the first game set-up a great premise it felt like Tomb Raider and Indianna Jones had a baby and that turned out to be Uncharted... And for some that's an exciting premise, but I am more into the whole Sci-Fi thing than Zombies created by an artifact in a temple somewhere, but that's personal/opinion and taste.

Oh my god, those ladders. It felt like every platform, ladder, and handgrip would break in that game. At one point, mid-way through, I lept for a platform knowing it would shatter beneath my feet and Drake would yelp out a few of his trademark "oh, crap!" lines. Uncharted 3 was such a mess.

Anyway, you might like 4 more. The game still shows some of the same warts - QTEs, automatic set pieces, etc. - but there are far fewer scripted fall scenes and a couple levels that allow a healthy amount of exploration, via jeep and boat.

I remember that the first game had the issue that it didn't count hits when the enemy was performing certain animations. That was why people considered them bullet sponges.

But OT, do as i do, play the game on normal or easy if it is too hard for you. Know your limits and don't look for the problem elsewhere when there really isn't one.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

You should try out an easier game like bloodborne

So you're telling me that the bad guys won't stand there and let you shoot them? That's horrible. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

He got used to Gumbas always walking in a straight line to him and feels lost when enemies actually show any level od AI whatsoever

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

I've never found these games to be hard, to be honest. Just boring, but I suppose I have different tastes than some other people :S

so when its all said and done you just suck at the game. Fair enough, we all cant be good

You can criticize Uncharted for being linear, too similar to an action movie, limited enemy variety and other things. But saying that it is too hard? That game is pretty easy. We can safely assume that you can't play most TPS or FPS games and online matches are surely impossible. No offense, but that's a reasonably casual game.

Well, I remember when I started playing online games. I got a PS3 and started playing Resistance 2. I thought I was pretty bad (K:D around 0.5, 0.7). I kept playing and got better, sometimes even being the top players, and always at least top 10, which is decent for a 60 player game. I don't consider myself a damn good FPS player, more like average or a little above that. But I won't always forget that there were guys that ended the match with scores like 2-30. I couldn't understand it. Even if I run around trying to melee people I would still do better than that. But yes, there are people that are THAT bad.

Of course, it's, most likely a troll thread. Or you are THAT bad.

Do we have my little poney: friendship is magic game? Because that could be a game with adequate challenge level.

Gotta be trolling, no way someone would enjoy Uncharted Golden Abyss more than the others.
