Yes. Many Saturn & Media Markt shops in Germany (both companies belong to the Metro group) never have Zelda:TP in stock. I noticed this first when I bought my Wii some months ago and it did not change until today. Although I told the guys at my local Saturn, that this is one of the best and best-selling Wii games, they never seemed to order a single copy. As if the game did not exist.

I think they are just lazy (the Metro group is the dominating market leader) and think this ”old” game does not sell anymore. Obviously no VG Chartz members or visitors of this site...

Jumping on the conclusion that Zelda TP isn't selling (decent numbers) any longer because people on this site aren't buying it right now is not valid in my opinion. People who look at this site are really into gaming. And therefore have already bought the (great) games that they wish to play as soon as they come out. Everyone who wants Zelda on this site already has it! Casual players who've just bought a Wii and are still looking for good games maybe haven't... Ohyeah, check WW weekly sales, TP is still tracking in the top 50's after 65~weeks...

He said that the responsible people at the Metro group obviously aren't visitors or members of this site, otherwise they'd purchase at least some copies since they'd realize that it's still selling.

That's the stereotypical Saturn & Media Markt excuse.

At my local Saturn a woman was  asking for Brain Training 2 one week after release - answer: not available at the moment, please check again in a few(!) weeks. A month later a man asked for Mario Kart DS and Mario & Luigi - same answer. Both people did not want the games for their kids btw, they wanted them for themselves and were very disappointed.

I told these two people to visit a smaller electronics shop in the same town, where nearly all games for Wii, DS and any other system are avalaible anytime, to get their games the very same day they wanted them.

The local Saturn employees also seemed to realize later than our grandmas that the DS is more successful than the PSP (3:1 user base in Germany according to VG Chartz). It took until a few weeks ago until they doubled the quite small DS shelves and minimized the giant PSP ones.

Meanwhile I get the impression that they were not stupid, they were just reluctant...as revenge they put all Imagine Babies and My Horse games on top of the shelves and never ever order Mario Kart.

Most Saturn/Media Markt employees are ignorant idiots, the story largely correlates with my personal experiences. That's why I avoid these shops whenever possible.

Im sure its just in low stock. Not to worry. Go down the road to another store and Im sure you will find what you are looking for.

Yeah, funny thing is the Wii/ DS section in the mediamarkt I went to is massive. They had like 100 copies of M&S at least, 30 copies of NMH, and all kind of catz and dogz rubbish....so it was just really weird that they had every game possible in plenty of numbers except for TP
