This is one of the few games that makes sense to remaster specially for ps3 only owners. I stopped playing the ps3 version when I had a few crashes while crossing the river.

You don't want a remaster?  Don't buy it.  Problem solved.  Meanwhile, people who haven't played the game before can play it now and on hardware that isn't being strained past its limits.  It makes zero sense to complain about this.

The only possible justification for remasters going away is if there is no demand and that would not appear to be the case.
