I think a lot of people (at least me) just got confused about why you kept ignoring the comments about that we indeed did get a gameplay trailer simultaneously with its reveal and that this is a story trailer (many people prefer a good story in RPGs).

You're a fan of The Legend of Zelda and understandably you're hyped for Zelda U/NX but why didn't you criticize Zelda's reveal trailer for being purely CGI? At least this Horizon story trailer is in game.

I agree with you that it's weird that publisher's expect us to preorder a game on no other basis than a CGI trailer (e.g. Battlefield 1) but to each his own. Hopefully, those people will hesitate preordering again if they've been disappointed with a preordered game and if they've felt betrayed by the marketing.

Personally, I just save the preorder until when/if I'm sold on a game. That's why I've only preordered 4 games in my life as new games cost more than $75 here in Denmark and I don't wanna get burned.

I remain cautiously optimistic. I like what it seems to be doing, but for every Bloodborne that meets expectations there's a The Order that let's people down.

This year is packed for me, good thing this is delayed, I'll be getting the Limited Edition one.
