So, with the announcement of AMD's new tech, Rx480 and the rumors of Nintendo+VR we can assume that the NX is not going to be a weak console,  weaker than NEO and Scorpio? maybe, we don't know, but we can be a little bit more optimistic. Now we need to know the special feature of the "platform".... console and handheld hybrid with free form display, VR, zelda and beyond good and evil 2? damnnn... day one.

That's great news. Nintendo's finally learning. Now they need a hard drive in the system and decent online and they'll be golden.

I bet it's going to be as strong as the xb1 or ps4 but Holiday 2017 Nintendo is going to release and SCD that makes it work for VR.

"Explore Hyrule with VR" should be their marketing campaign, definitely possible because it's a wii u game with better graphics.

Emily Rogers say it's gonna be around the same level of Xbone if not lower, so maybe 1Teraflopz console.

I think the gpu might be the unannounced low end R7 440 or R7 450, consistent in Nintendos very low power usage and cheap philosophy.

But i cant see it being ready at launch. If the rumor is true and Nintendo this year ordered for later manufacturing because they want to modify the NX then i doubt they will have a VR game ready by march next year unless its rushed.

If it's powerful enough to warrant a Wii U port (presumably the most hardware intensive game Zelda U), it must be at least as powerful as PS4 or Xbone. If NX isn't at least as powerful as PS4 and Xbone, Nintendo better kiss off. Unless they're okay with the NX being a 1st party content console only.

define "weak" or define what will constitute being "powerful" in terms of the NX -
IMO it will be close in specs/power to the XB1/PS4- Would that be considered weak or not?

Cool I guess. I just want it to have good games when all is said and done.

Since this is Nintendo next gen console it would wanna be a little more than in the area of the ps4/xboxone
