Oh Lord Why? Now you're leaving us in this stupid Union defenceless against Germany and their stupid leftist policies. UK-V4 could be able to counterweigh Germany, Benelux and France and actually reform this monster. Without you, it's going to be terrifying.

I understand why you want to leave, but... It's so selfish of you And the scariest thing is that Poles would never vote to follow your footsteps

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

lol, you do realize most of the "Leave" camp despise Polish immigrants right?

Poland is the country that had the largest explosion of immigration into the UK since 2001 largely because of the EU.

Why would they? Poland is a huge beneficiary of the EU and the UK wasn't.

Hey, way to go Britain. You'll probably tank your economy (the pound is already down a lot) and hurt other nation's economies as well (Dow Jones futures are down 700 points on this news), but at least you'll feel better about yourselves and "Muh sovereignty!" Because in an increasingly interconnected and globalized world, what humanity definitely needs[/s] is for every nation to turn inwards, shut themselves off to outsiders in a fit of apoplectic nativism, and basically do the opposite of the increased cooperation. So three cheers for the rise of right-wing nationalism, anti-internationalism, and nativist demagogues. From Trump to Le Pen's National Front to UKIP, forces that prey on people's fear of "the other" in times of crisis are going to roll back decades of progress in international relations, putting us on a course to isolationist "Fuck the rest of the world, because my country is the only one that matters and what happens over there doesn't affect things here because I said so" tendencies.

Quite a bit of hyperbole here.

I hear a lot of people about Schotland but what about North Ireland? We might actually see a unification of Ireland now.

Gibraltar might also very well leave the UK.

It's pretty much the same thing: isolationism, racism and oligarchy.

My gosh. You really believe that a vote to take back democracy from a rich elite is racism? Wouldn't the EU be more of an oligarchy? And since there is less regulation coming out of the EU, thats the opposite of "isolationism". And since when is nationalism racist? What you're describing has no substance!

it  popular to refer to anything you dont like as rasist.

people are just over reacting. what this will lead to is other countries in the EU putting pressure on the EU to reduce their anti capitalist policies which will benefit everyone. Well except the countries that lean on the economic strengh of Germany, France and UK.

All civilized countries are some variation of democratic socialist states, even the USA. A purely capitalist state doesn't exist and if it did it would be a fucking disaster for anyone who isn't loaded.

yes its a scale. most commonly depicted as a left to right bar bewteen laisse faire capitalism and communism. EU has drifted to far to the communism part of the bar. It is also not good to be totally on the capilatism side of the bar (can lead to too much volatility). Europe just needs to start drifting back to capitalism until they reach a place where the engines of their economies can be ignited.

Social democratic states. Democratic socialism is the process by which socialism (the social ownership of the means of production) is achieved via democracy. Social democracy is characterized by a mixed economy, but primarily capitalist modes of production (private ownership of the means of production.)

The U.S has a mixed economy, but I wouldn't call it a social democracy. And the U.S is not some bastion of free-markets, private ownership, and capitalism either. Places like Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada have much more free-market oriented economies.
