According to Statcounter (as tweeted,by David Storey, Edge developer at Microsoft) Windows 10 for the first time overtook Windows 7 in USA on the 29th May, joining Western Europe, Australia and some other smaller markets where this is the case.

Well, not really. I've managed to install fresh copies of Windows10 on my devices and forced the activation in the terminal. Not that difficult. Next time though, I'm going to sandbox Windows as gaming OS in Linux because Windows 10 is frankly not a good OS.

... oh my.  I would be so pissed.



I left my computer the other week and when I came back Windows 10 was installing. It's fine, but not crazy about upgrade just happening without my knowledge.
