Son of a bitch. My mom's laptop updated to windows 10 all of a sudden and I'm wondering if this is the reason why. She doesn't really mind the switch but that's just messed up

Killing all support and maing sure everyone else stops supporting the other two current used OS's is akin to herding cattle where you want them to go, I'd rather not be forced another way either, especially not like that.

Yeah, they tried that. And we've all seen how that's going right now. This shouldn't surprise anyone, MS makes a pretty good OS when they actually try. But beyond that? Their handling of the PC market - especially the gaming space - has always been hilariously, unbelievably bad. They want so bad to have a cut of that Apple-style walled garden pie. But they absolutely suck at it.

Really dicky move Microsoft. As much as you want those 1 billion users, I know a few people who'll be getting a Mac now and have totally lost trust in Microsoft. And look Windows 10 is great, but forcing it upon people seems desperate.
Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I Completely forgot about Scorpion and PS4 Neo's Rumors, but if this is what Microsoft do to make peope upgrade for another version, i really hope that Scorpion is just a Rumor or Microsoft will fail with those kind of policy, But, since they only have 1 Console on the market now that they cancelled the production of the Xbox 360, there is a high probability that they will release the Scorpion.
Decided to take the plunge and update to W10 on my laptop...but apparently I couldn't because my laptop can't handle it. Guess I don't have to worry about being forced into an update at least.
My good old Alienware dislikes windows 8.1 so I stopped at windows 8. So I don't have to deal with this bullshit! Yay, lucky me
It might sound odd but so far Windows 10 has surpassed Windows 7 for me...
