Even after having a 3-1 lead?

Doesn't make any difference what the order is.  Being up 3-1 guarantees nothing.  It's no different than each team winning every other game.  4-3 is still 4-3.  Each game is completely separate.  Choking is when the other team has no hope unless you mess up and then you mess up.  It's not simply getting beat, especially by a better team.

I don't know...KD and Westbrook choked pretty badly in crunch time. Those 6 turnovers and 2 points in the final minutes of game 6 decided it all.

Once KD and westbrook realize they shouldn't throw every ball during crunch time, then they'll become contenders. Until then, the value of Waiters, Adams, Kanter, and others will be close to little during the most valuable moments of a game

12/22/2016- Made a bet with Ganoncrotch that the first 6 months of 2017 will be worse than 2016. A poll will be made to determine the winner. Loser has to take a picture of them imitating their profile picture.

You're going to be waiting a long time for Westbrook, then.  He's never not going to play that way unless he can't.  It's the reason he wins and it's the reason he loses.

You're right it's not a "guarantee," except for the fact only 10 teams have done it out of 230. That's about as close as you can get to a guarantee in the NBA.

As for the no hope, it could be easily argued that after losing back-to-back blowout losses in games 3 and 4, the Warriors had no hope of winning this series.

How many of those 230 teams were obviously inferior?  Seriously, that stat means nothing unless you factor out teams that were outmatched.  The Warriors being down 3-1 is completely different than the Charlotte Hornets being down 3-1.  As for having no hope, that's not true at all.  Not even close to being true.  They were 73-9 over 82 games.  Having to win 3 games in a row is impossible?  They obviously had hope.

Obviously they're going to have hope. No one should expect otherwise from great teams. However, it doesn't have to impossible for it to be considered choking. The Warriors coming back from 3-1 was highly improbable if you look at it from any statistic. That's what people refer to OKC choking. There's also the fact that throughout the season OKC have had the label of chokers (most losses in the NBA when leading to start the fourth quarter) so it's not a stretch to say they choked a 3-1 series lead. Even if it was against the reigning MVP and defending champs.

This wasn't chocking it was a better team pulling their shit together and doing what they should have been doing.

Well then they'll be doing more losing than winning if that's the case because it was Westbrook constantly forcing the issue that cost them in the end, countless turnovers that led to a 3 pointer from either Steph or Klay on the other end. He's got a solid group of guys around him, not just Durant. Although Durant can certainly be held accountable. When the Thunder were playing together as a team and moving the ball, THAT'S what got them up 3-1 in the series with 3 chances to put the Warriors away. But then for some reason, they went away from that these last 3 games and back to their old, iso-ball ways where it's "Your Turn-My Turn" between Durant and Westbrook... and look what happened. Adams was an absolute monster this series. Him, along with Ibaka and Kanter, the Warriors were completely outmatched in the paint. Plus Robertson, Randy Foye, and Dion Waiters are capable players as well. Westbrook has a very solid cast of players around him but he decides to take the ball himself and try to force something rather than move the ball, get the others involved and get good shots, it was that ball movement that had them leading by 13 in this game. Then when Golden State starting coming back, Westbrook (and Durant to a lesser degree) went away from that ball movement and involving the others to playing iso-hero ball making the issue THAT much worse and what was the result? 29-12 3rd quarter in favor of Golden State and we know the rest. Now instead of flying to Cleveland to face LeBron and co., they'll be fishing with Shaq, Kenny, Charles, and EJ in the summer.

It was a combination of both.

OKC would have won, had Russell Westbrook and KD not gone back to their simplistic offense.
