Realist? No. Just a normal person that can see beyond my nose. Nothing special.

Well that's a crying shame, it's perfectly valid to have opinions without thinking they are greater than they actually are, or that everyone who disagrees must be ignorant or delusional. I always assumed you were above that.

I suppose this Zelda WiiU thing has made you a lot more angry than I assumed. I just hope the wait was worth it and the game is good for everyone.

It's not the game, it's to see incompetent people being praised.

Hey, it's that typical gamer extremes and reactions I was talking about.I'd quote my first post on this but I dont feel THAT invested in this to actually go to it.

"Not being completely furious" is nowhere near "praising" them.

Like at all. In any universe.

No, not being as mad as you doesnt mean I'm delusional or praising everything they did. I'm not being convinced that I was wrong in my assumptioms in the last post.

90 minutes of demo,... i'm already bored.

i expect there will be 10 minutes worth of interesting content intertwined in 80 minutes of miyamoto overexplaining mundane details like on the last one where they overexplained how the horse doesn't walk into to trees. it will be just like that CoD demo where they dwelled on how the fish swim out of your way,.. who the fuck cares?!? ..well other than the half this forum will be nintendosplaining how it is completely different than all those other games that already did the same idea.

We agree.

This is a treehouse demo. Expect at least 80 minutes of forced praise to little things and only 10 minutes worth. I'll be surprised if they show more than Link runing in circles or 2-3 areas of the initial dungeon.

Anyway, 90 minutes demo and Nintendo E3's presentation is over.
I still laugh (and get mad) at reading the "Wii U version" because we could be playing the game this christmas if it wasn't for the succesor. At least I'm confident that Nintendo does not care for their fans.

At least we are going to be a couple of boring cats when that demo appears.

No, you cant know if game will be trash or great based on one minute trailer because there are much more staffs we don't know about game than we actually know from 1 minute trailer, for instance we don't know anything about story. But you can still deny that and say game is trash, game for which we have just one 1 minute trailer and nothing else.

Do you really think Nintendo will put everything about game in first 1 minute trailer, do you actually know that usually Nintendo reviles and first trailers and are bad and later ones are much better because Nintendo later shows more staffs and infos.

No, as in, every single thing shown doesn't look like Sticker Star? And what more do we need to know? They've shown the core concept and mechanics, the very foundation for the game, which is flawed, thus the rest of the game will crumble. We don't need to see every inch of every stage, awful concept is awful no matter what coat of paint you give it. And more proof you haven't even seen the trailer thus no idea what you're talking about. They told us direct details about the story, called the game a freaking action adventure, we saw a number of NPCs all of which are generic toads, we saw a Kertsi-like character filling the role of Partners again, and progression is map/goal based, so when combined with everything else having been taken from Sticker Star, it's only logical to assume to the story will be of the same vein. Even if it's somehow not, the framework is still flawed.

You don't need everything, just the main idea behind the game, Nintendo's trailers have always shown this, no exception here. What recent Nintendo game's core foundation ever changed from trailer to trailer? Sure there might be some tweaked mechanics like with Mario Kart 8, but the final product was still a Mario Kart game. Infact because Nintendo games are just sequels it's actually very easy to tell at first glance if they'll be good or not. If an upcoming game is using the same ideas from a predecessor then all you have to do is look at how the predecessor turned out to know if it'll be good or not. 3D Land was awesome thus I knew 3D World would be the second I saw it, and likewise Mario Party 9 was shit and as soon as I saw the car in MP10 I knew it would be aswell. Tis why I said I may aswell have played Color Splash already.
