make a Game on the great Spaghetti Monster, one where the best of the meatballs that compose him decides to usurp the Spaghetti Monster's throne but the Spaghetti Monster defeats the Evil Meatball and crushes it at the center of Earth forming Hell('s Kitchen) !!

The protagonist is of course a regular Penna that must defeat the evil kingdom of the Fallen Meatball to redeme itself from entering the Kitchen of an Olive Garden restaurant !

That or an Action Adventure game with some particular gameplay twist (say the game is set in a magical world but the protagonist somehow gets a gun, so he can fight with either the gun or a sword but if he runs out of bullets it'll take a lot of time for him to get more but the Gun is crazy broken of course...)

This actually sounds like a lot of fun

Hi, I do marketing for my girlfriend's company (she gets paid the big bucks)
And something that should never be underestimated is the power of free advertisement.
Let me give you an example:
Do you want to appear on IGN, GameSpot and most Youtube channels?
Idea pitch:
Every single person (invitational only) that manages to beat the game within 24 hours after its release on a Life Stream, without hacks of course, will share %7 of the total revenue. (This could also be restricted to Charity if you want)
Online score boards will be supported after the day 1 challenge, so that people try to beat their favorite Youtuber or Twich streamer. This will encourage even more people to buy the game.
The game's title is: SE7EN. And its about 7 realms, or 7 Knights, or 7 Friends... You get the idea.
Its does not need to be long, but it must be really hard and fast enough for people to keep trying.
That's it, instant hit.

Do it the way others are doing it. They figoured out the formula for this sorta thing long ago.
People "expect" this of dungeon crawlers:

Find a differnt way to stand out, than the forumla.... be that story/setting/humor.

matters on how much we impliment the idea

How about a story of an archaeologist who can visit the era of the artifact he touches and the full story of the artifacts is revealed to him. An action adventure that uses the history if not only famous civilizations but lesser known ones as well
Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

So are you proposing a game that is essentially a historical learning game, yet at the same time a game that is more of the mythical sorts? Or would you want to see an action game, or what genre for this?

I do have some advice to give: Start as small as possible. I see you're 16, no I'm not a stalker but I just look out for these things. Please, start small. Even if you think you're starting small, go even smaller. If it's a dungeon crawler maybe 10 dungeons with plot elements just to get a feel for making games. And it's okay to directly copy aspects from your favorite games into your first games. The first songs that guitarists learn to play are from famous guitarists. From there they find their own style and become something great.
I want to get into gaming too but mainly on the art side of game development. 3D modeling and texturing and a bit of animation. So I want everyone coming up in the industry to succeed in some form. So get your homework done and start small. If I were to give gameplay ideas, take two styles that you would never expect to see like Dungeon Crawling and Action Platformer, see what aspects of those you like and even dislike and try and combine them into something new. It's a process I now like to call the PB&J approach. But to reiterate, start small and get something under your belt.
