Cost me £45 for the Origins edition on PC which is about £5 more if not the same price as other standard AAA games out there without discounts on PC. Also it comes with content for other Blizz games which I think is decent of them considering Acti, EA, Ubisoft don't do this for all their titles like having one connected net web with their titles.
The Euro doesn't sound all that great when I look at the exchange rates compared to GBP and USD.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
You know, if there was a £30 version on PS4, I would have recommended my friends get it with me and we play together, sadly there isn't. It's just £55 Origins Edition with some extra crap. The beta was fun but didn't seem to be much to it. Okay so it was a Beta so certain things would have been removed but for anyone that owns it, is there anything to unlock besides leveling up and getting chests?
In Black Ops 3, you have the campaign, Zombies and MP, in each there are unlucks, extra modes and lots of gameplay to be done. The MP has loads of weapons and lots of challenges. Are there the same type of thing for this where you play say Mercy and do 5000 healing you get a new costume or icon or something?
Hmm, pie.
Lololololol.
Fucking seriously mate, how many AAA games are short story driven games with like 20 hours of gameplay. Overwatch on the other hand is a game that is made to be replayed for hours and hours. Look at similar games to Overwatch that people have racked up hundreds if not thousands of hours. If $$$ to hours played is the most important thing when buying a game then games like Overwatch are actually the best way to go
Blizzard charges a premium on their games and rarely put their games on sale.
Naughty Dog have more expensive and arguably exploitative micro-transactions than other Sony studios.
Rockstar almost never puts their games on sale.
Atlus charges puts a huge premium on their games and merchandise.
Nintendo has Amiibo and never put their games on sale.
Bungie charges through the roof for DLC and expansions.
High-quality developers (with the exception of Valve, but they don't really count because they don't make games anymore) can get away with charging more for their games because the market will bare it.
4.9billion minutes played on the Free Beta tho! people enjoy the game for free... but... will they jump over to the paid version, I haven't yet, but it's not really down to the price of it for me, just a time issue.
That said there is also a cheaper option on the PC at least here, through battlenet I think it's 39euro.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

And all those games were ridiculed for the same reason.
Battlefront, Titanfall, Evolve... Lack of content, they got stale fast, their in-game populations sank faster than the Titanic.

And there is no reason why a cheaper options surely cannot be available for the many Beta players on XBO and PS4 as well (not everyone has high end spec PCs to play this game on). £55 for 'Origins Edition' is all they get.

I paid $20 for Rocket League and played it for over a thousand hours. Every game that has a worse time/price ratio is overpriced and should not be bought until it reaches the sweet mark of 2c per hour. Because games are always about quantity and never quality.
