What is the opinion of you guys in here? Do you consider eSports a true sport or not?

What are your arguments in favor or against eSports as a sport?

You don't move around, so I don't consider it a sport.



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

There are professional gamers that have skills and reflex times that are masters of the games they compete with. Most people could not go up against these players without getting their joysticks handed to them.

Also people can spectate and cheer for their favorite players and teams.

So yes, e-sports is a sport.
