Forums - Nintendo - Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn discussion thread: stats, characters etc.

Well, not really, because 3 already has 1 in it (it's divided in two books, book one is FE 1) so all they have to do is make a remake of 3 and incorporate the FE2 storyline.

A bit like they did in Radiant Dawn, that also shifts the story between different countries.

So what's Nintendo's "idea box'' email adress?

I think you're right that the current universe has quite some following (just look at this thread) so they might stick with it.

As long as we'll see another Wii Fire Emblem I'm more than happy.

Not only does the current universe have a strong following but because of all the back story that has been laid its practically primed and ready for a prequel. They could do something as recent as Greil joining Ashnard, training Zelgius and the creation of the Greil Mercenaries or could go very distant past to when they created the Fire Emblem and made the covenant with the goddess. But like you said i'll pretty much be happy with any other Fire Emblem they can throw at me right now.

^ I'd love a story from the "humans" (forgot the name of the pre-laguz and pre-beorc guys). Maybe it could be at the time Laguz and Beorc split, and the problems around that. That would be awesome.

Another question: are there any recommended SRPGs on Virtual Console/NDS?

I heard on recommendation, but I'd like to hear some others. In advance, thanks.

That is VGChartz LONGEST review. And it's NOT Cute Kitten DS

Yay, I was helping my friend buying a game, and I just made a store close to me take in 15 copies of Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn :) I never thought he'd listen to a 14 and a 15 year old, but I was wrong :D

According to SerenesFortress.com (or something) Nintendo has trademarked Dark Dragon and Sword of Light, which is the name of the first title, this leads to the thought that only the first game will be in the remake...

Both those terms are from Shinning Force Dark Dragon was the main enemy and the sword of light fused with the sword of darkness the only weapon to kill him.

@Quilex

A game on VC is called Shinning Force, is that a FE game? Sorry for the stupid question.

It's not a Fire Emblem game but it is a SRPG/TRPG game.

Shinning force is different to FE in the ways RolStoppable has talked about but remember it's an older game. It is still strategic in my opinion, its different kind of strategy though you don't know who is going to move next so you have to be careful with leaving units out on there own, however the character that die can be revived for a small cost at the next chapel you come across so losing people is not the as heavily punished as in FE.

There is also some walking around towns and talking to people finding your way through the story. There are lots of hidden characters to find and Shining Force II has about 4 difficulty settings, number II is a bigger game than I but both take a good amount of time to finish.

As you might have guessed I am a fan of the games but like all games they will not be for everyone. But for 800 points I would suggest there a great buy.

OK, thanks Quilex. What about the Advance Wars on DS? Are they kind of the same, or very different? I tried to find some of this stuff, but people around the Internet don't seem to give FE a lot of love.
