@CrabMaster

Actually, my Rolf was better than Shinon in almost every way. I compared them after I had them both at lvl 18 sniper, and Shinon was only better in HP. I would have used Rolf anyway though.

The thing that is great with Rolf is the dodging. He doesn't get hit, while Shinon did.

As for Leonardo, he wasn't as good, but I liked him, and he was from my original team.

Rolf and Leo were out on their own. I always grouped my characters up in 3s , 4s or 5s, but they could stand their own.

I never had to worry about chosing the best characters, as I never really had a problem in this game untill the last boss. I played on Normal, not hard. Normal could have

On normal mode I used Rolf too and never had any issues with him. On Hard Mode I had Shinnon/Soren sharing a support and neither of them got hit very often. After you get your weapons blessed during the endgame though Soren had a long range weapon blessed so he hid back and cherry picked so Shinnon had to go out on his own. I was a little nervous about it until I accidently moved him in the range of 4 dragons....... After the turn ended Shinnon still had 20 hit points and only 2 of the dragons where alive, and that was only because they moved to close for him to attack them.

I just finished it second time. Played Normal, but never used BEXP, battle saves or checked how far the enemy can move with 2.

Was pretty fun second time (my pal played with me as "guide")

In despite of you, I killed Shinon, and leveled rolf 20/20/19 :) take that! :P

Also, do you have any idea of how the series could go on? I mean, As (not spoiler) is dead.

The series will probably start a new story, without the PoR/RD characters in a new universe.
The series is like FF, there's no consistent story, although there are several universes that share multiple games. FE1+2+3 (Marth), 4+5, 6+7 (Roy) and 9+10 (Ike) take place in the same universe.

1-2: NES
3-5: SNES
6-8: GBA
9: GC
10 Wii

It's quit reasonable to expect a second Wii Fire Emblem. Radiant Dawn sold well over 500.000 copies and the userbase is growing enormously.

I thought Ashera had been the goddess in all the games, and that the Fire Emblem had always depended on her, and now she's dead, therefore the story can't really go on. But if that hasn't always been the story that's okay.

Radiant Dawn could make a million, which would more than warrant another game for Wii (I'm allowed to hope :)

So including remakes, they have made 14 games, right? Over about 18 years, so probably about a title every second year now, which means 2010/2011 for next FE Wii if it comes. (Remake of nr 1 to DS next year)

No, they made 10 games. Radiant Dawn is Fire Emblem 10. The DS game will be a remake of the first game or maybe the first 3, since 2 is a side story of 1, taking place at the same time on a different continent and 3 contains 1 and follows up on that in the second part of the game.

Complicated?

Nah:

FE 5 is a chapter in the storyline of FE4.
FE 7 takes place before FE6.

Maybe the next Wii installment will explain Greil's story. Would be cool. I wouldn't mind another game on Tellius.

Ike has some popularity going for him now with the last two Fire Emblem games and also being in Smash Brothers. I wouldnt be surprised in the least if Nintendo made another game featuring him because hes pretty much the current Fire Emblem mascot. I think having him in the game would sell a significant amount of copies compared to without him.

Your idea of having Greil's story featured in a new game is a great idea. They could keep many memorable characters such as: Greil, Tibarn, Digensea, Zelgius, Sephiran, Ashnard, Laguz nobles, Stephan, etc., etc. etc. Lots of possibility there. Hell they could even slap Ike on the cover as a kid to sell a few thousand more copies even if the game didnt feature him as a playable character.

Curse you and your Anti-Shinnon, Pro-Rolf ways!!! Shinnon taught Rolf everything that Rolf knows, and probably didnt teach him a few tricks incase he ever needed to kill him!! Besides Rolf is such a weiner!

Second playthrough is a lot of fun. Im glad you enjoyed it. You know the game fairly well now so you should try Hard Mode. You dont get battle saves or see enemy movement on Hard Mode so you'll already be familiar with that. The only difference would be that you gain half as much EXP and BEXP. Its only REALLY hard during the first part of the game with the Light Brigade. But after you get Manly ol' Nolan to a decent level he just beards everything to death.

So what's Nintendo's "idea box'' email adress?

I think you're right that the current universe has quite some following (just look at this thread) so they might stick with it.

As long as we'll see another Wii Fire Emblem I'm more than happy.

Thanks for updating me Benga.

They said that the remake would be longer, and have more characters than in the original one. Perhaps that means it's just nr 1, as 1+2+3+a little extra would be a lot of stuff, right?
