Playtonic is rare.
The old rare (they keep hireing more and more old rare people).

Yooka-Laylee looks fantastic.

Also a "battle to thwart corporate creep Capital B" (Bill Gates, Ballmer)?
Lmao.

Yay for anti-corporate storyline ^^

If I was a dev of playtonic, I wouldn't release on MS platform just out of spite.

I would. Your a dev, and you want your game to make as much $ as possible.

They just left so they could get back to makeing the type of games they wanted to make again. Dont think its much more than that.

Same thing with Bungie, they didnt wanna make halo anymore, so they left.
Rare couldnt get out though, so they had to quit, and start on their own.

It's the smarter choice. Same goes for Kojima productions. Too bad Maxis, Ensemble and Lionhead are amongst the many who didn't manage to get free from their corporations.

Are they planning a physical release? Last i remember was only a pc physical.
