"Dual typing simply ensures you have moves from atleast two different types."

We've both made our points clear a while back, but since we're being anal about syntax now, I guess I'll just say that outside of a few Pokemon that are purposely gimmicky like Unown, what Pokemon doesn't have moves from at least two different types? If that's your whole point, then that's an easy platform to stand on...

My wording was poor, sorry. I say we can we be done with this pointless arguing now.

Arguing is such a strong word. If you feel this discussion/debate has ran its course, then don't let me waste your time. However, I'd like to make it clear that I do get your point and that I don't feel like I'm necessarily disagreeing with you; I feel like it's more a matter of someone like me who is a hardcore Pokemon tryhard sees things from a broader perspective than someone who plays more casually like yourself, and that things that may have been more true in generations past, like dual typing being a necessary boon to better learnsets, are no longer relevant with so many hundreds more Pokemon, abilities and moves, and ways to acquire moves added to the games.

Around the Network

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, I'll get back on topic. I remember a few weeks before the starters were officially unveiled, I saw a thread on GameFAQs that had a list of leaked Pokemon with their types and Japanese names. It had the starters on it, and IT WAS LEGIT. It got their names and typing right.

I need to find that thread again, but I remember seeing a cockroach Pokemon that I think was Bug/Dark, a Dragon eeveelution, and the Sun legendary being Fire/Ice.

lol whut, you don't need to be a tryhard to see anything. I'm a supposed casual and I knew all that already, I just also knew it wasn't relevant to a discussion about what determines who get's a good movepool.
