I like the fact that they're all rare type combinations, though I don't like how none of the secondary types are new for starters to have, but no big deal, I'm glad there wouldn't be any secondary typing overlap between Popplio and the potential dolphin Pokemon. Also all them Popplio haters might be singing a different tune now that he is the only one without a 4x weakness! Although Litten would have the fewest weaknesses with just 3 compared to the other's 5. 

Video already says that Litten will stay fire while the ground belongs to Rowlet.

So Rowlet will still be 4x weak against ice anyway?

It doesn't say that. Ground n Fire could be out of order cause of a mistake (like putting these images up to begin with) or how the Japanese alphabet is ordered. To me that's more believeable than an Owl losing it's wings for some reason to become an already done combination while the Fire starter get's shafted.

I'd rather see an owl on the ground than a cat.

That would break resistance circle. The bird would be able to do normal damage to Litten.

I'm not big into Pokémon, but why don't they have a starter for each class?

The point of the starters is for beginners to start understanding the rock-paper-scissors element of the game. Fire burns grass but it's extinguished by water, which is drank by grass, which is burnt by fire. Those three types are the easiest to which explain that.
